A new Marine Technology Program for adults is addressing that need, graduating its first five students at the Great Upstate Boat Show in Queensbury.

National Safe Boating Week is a reminder that anyone operating a motorized boat in New York State must carry a valid safe boating certificate — and local expert Ira Goldman joined the FLX Morning Podcast to walk through what boaters in the Finger Lakes region need before they hit the water.
